Various therapy styles and techniques are determined based on an individual. Each individual’s unique style and personality allows me to blend different techniques in therapy sessions based on a clients need, disposition and style.
My clinical focus is unique to each individual who walks through my door. I strongly believe that my clinical focus varies depending on each and every one’s unique situation. I incorporate many different styles meeting the needs of each client. I believe that my style must meet a client’s needs and expectations of the therapy process in order for change to occur.
I enjoy working with clients of all ages. Individuals who experience lack of self-esteem, peer conflict, family crisis and emotional upsets find that life’s stressors are complicated and challenging to resolve. “Connection” is the most important aspect in developing a natural, trusting and collaborative working relationship. Connection promotes a healthy therapeutic alliance where goals can be achieved and reflected upon. I believe a productive therapeutic relationship involves weaving compassion and understanding while developing the ability to effectively communicate in a safe, nurturing environment.
I work with individuals, couples, and families including children, adolescence, and adults. Children have been my life’s passion. As a therapist, educator, mother and role model, a child needs life’s nourishment in order to grow, develop, create, identify and establish healthy relationships.
